Remote Solutions Engineers at Nokia

The Solutions Engineer works to design networking architectures and configurations that highlight the strengths of our portfolio and meet customer expectations.

Each individual will be responsible for testing our range of datacenter solutions and feeding this back into the feature development process for the 7xx0 platforms. Results of the testing will be shared with the internal Competence Centers and Sales Organizations and may result in external communication. The individual will also be responsible for in-depth and complex new product introduction and POC testing with customers on Nokia's Service Router and Data Center product portfolio.

• A very experienced and strong understanding of network design and architecture for datacenter networks is key for this role, as well as experience with datacenter interconnections using various IP/MPLS/SRv6 solutions
• 5+ years related experience in internetworking technologies and applications.
• Strong knowledge of L2/L3 protocols, Network Applications, QOS, MPLS and Network Security.
• Experience with test suites, IXIA and/or Spirent required.
• Working knowledge and experience with datacenter and IP/MPLS routers required (Nokia, JNPR, CSCO, ARSTA).
• Strong interpersonal skills - work with people at all organizational levels Excellent written, communication and presentation skills.
• Strong Knowledge of GNU/Linux, virtualization technologies, Openstack, Kubernetes, Docker, Git, Ansible.
