Responsibilities

In the context of the development of a railway product (control, command and signalling system, SIL4 software system, generic product development) you will be performing safety activities as a member of the safety team.

You will carry out safety activities at software level (source code). Your work will consist of:

• Source Code analysis: inspection of the Ada language source code to check the correct implementation of software safety requirements.
• Safety Verification of Software Requirement Specifications.
• Safety Verification of Software Architecture Description.
• Support to system safety activities.
• Support to external safety audits.

Essential skills

Mandatory skills:

• Knowledge of Ada programming language: user level. Not software design skills are required. If not Ada, knowledge of other object-oriented languages, as C++ would be applicable.
• Knowledge / experience in Safety Engineering (especially for software systems):
  • safety lifecycle
  • Safety critical: experience in software lifecycle, either verification/validation activities or design/development.
• Rigorous, with critical mind.
• English B2

Desired Skills

• Knowledge in ERTMS/ETCS (specially trackside; RBC)

• French B1/B2

Experience

Required experience: at least 5 years in related activities.
