Job summary:
Cybernetic Controls Limited Senior AWS Solutions Architect will be responsible for taking ownership of software architecture within our group. This role involves supporting each subsidiary and product team with their software architecture requirements in AWS, ensuring consistency across the group, and adherence to the right processes, with a particular focus on the Architectural Decision Records process. The individual will have the opportunity to work in a team empowering the DevOps spirit, operating at every stage of the Software Development Lifecycle and working on large-scale, serverless and heavily multi-account solutions within the AWS cloud.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of software architecture across the group, ensuring consistency and alignment with best practices.
- Support each subsidiary and product team with their AWS software architecture requirements.
- Ensure the Architectural Decision Records process is followed appropriately across all teams.
- Collaborate extensively with the DevOps, backend development, and data engineering teams to ensure architectural needs are met.
- Provide guidance, thought leadership, and mentorship to development teams to build cloud competencies.
- Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle for AWS solutions, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance.
- Maintain a strong focus on security, ensuring all architectural decisions uphold the highest security standards.
- Stay up to date with the latest AWS services and technologies and ensure their appropriate adoption within the group.

5 years of experience architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions on AWS platforms
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree (or above) in Computer Science or a related subject
- AWS certifications are a plus
