Samoan Translator at Lilt

I am looking for freelance translators who specialise in Samoan Weather Services/Natural Science translations. This opportunity involves projects related to the US National Weather Service and includes the translation of sample weather forecasts (Tsunami) in English to Samoan, we require linguists with a background in translating such materials. Ideal candidates should have relevant experience through prior translation work.

This is a remote, freelance position.

Requirements:

• Native Samoan translators only

• MUST have Weather Services/Natural Science experience

• Minimum 2 years of translation experience and/or Linguistics/Translation degree

• The ability to follow terminology and reference materials precisely
