Technical Leader

We are seeking a Technical Leader to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mexico City. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. As a Technical Leader at Marsh, you will be responsible for guiding and coordinating technical teams in a global environment, ensuring the delivery of innovative and high-quality solutions.

We will count on you to:

  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable and efficient software architectures using AWS and Kubernetes.
  • Develop and maintain applications using Java and the MEAN stack, ensuring best coding practices and quality standards.
  • Facilitate collaboration among global teams, promoting effective communication and alignment of objectives.
  • Coordinate and oversee the work of technical teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for technical problem-solving and strategic decision-making.
  • Foster a collaborative and continuous learning work environment, mentoring team members and promoting professional development

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role.
  • Strong experience with AWS, including services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, or RDS.
  • In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes and its implementation in production environments.
  • Proficiency in MEAN stack, with experience in developing web and mobile applications and some experience in Java.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and project managemen
  • Advanced Level of English is a Must
