At Eni, we are looking for a Senior Joint Venture Accountant within Eni Mexico, S.de R.L. de C.V. in Mexico City. You will ensure the proper operation of Eni's joint ventures in Mexico, fostering effective management between Partners, internal departments of Eni Mexico, and any other relevant stakeholders.

Main responsibilities:
- Serve as Eni’s point of contact for operated joint interest billing queries and communicate with joint venture (JV) partners both in writing and orally.
- Review information provided by partners for non-operated areas.
- Interact with Project Managers and Technical Operations to obtain status updates on JV projects and ensure financial performance reports accurately reflect activities.
- Coordinate and prepare the Annual Work Program and Budget (WP&B) for the JV in accordance with the Joint Operating Agreement (JOA).
- Provide supporting financial analyses and documentation for WP&B and performance submissions.
- Track and report updates on statutory and tax requirements for JVs.
- Track and report internal and external audits.
- Implement internal and external auditors’ recommendations for JV administration and reporting.
- Coordinate, prepare, and submit monthly cash calls to JV partners, and attend scheduled cash call meetings.
- Assist the Tax Manager with special assignments as required.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of outbound joint venture billings and receivables through trial balance reviews, analyses and partner reconciliations.
- Investigate, resolve and respond promptly to queries and disputes from partners and other departments.
- Perform production accounting duties, accruals, variance analyses and process amendments as applicable.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with JV partners and other departments to achieve departmental and company objectives.
- Liaise with procurement, drilling, exploration, and all other departments involved in JV operations.
- Ensure Eni México remains compliant with all signed operating agreements.
Skills and experience required:
- Degree in Accounting, Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Significant accounting experience; experience in Oil & Gas or Joint Venture Operated Accounting is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Mexican tax regulations (SHCP, SAT, FMP, CNH, among others).
- Solid understanding of Mexican GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP is required).
