Lead Backend Developer with Chinese at Shiji Group
Job Description
Your job will be to lead the development of a part of a distributed system that serves the hospitality industry. The system consists of many domain-oriented microservices developed under a few cross-functional teams. You can bring a smile on the faces of thousands of people working in hotels across the globe.
You'll be responsible for:
- leading the team and giving guidance for developers,
- collaborating on the development and enhancement of data-centric solutions,
- working closely with Product and Technical Teams to understand requirements and ensure smooth communication across the teams,
- designing, implementing, and then maintaining new functionalities inside a living system.
- Ensuring technical collaboration of the teams in China and other international technology teams
- Quality Assurance: Ensure high-quality software by promoting good practices.
Technologies used:
- C# 9+, .NET, .NET Core,
- Microservices architecture,
- Microservices, Swagger, Docker,
- PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka,
- Visual Studio 2022 and Resharper, Rider
- experience in team leadership in software development area,
- being fluent in Object-Oriented and Functional Programming paradigms,
- good knowledge of C#, .NET, relational databases and data warehousing
- fluent English and Chinese with strong verbal and written skills,
- knowledge of data exchange file formats and data transfer protocols,
- being an open-minded, proactive person.
Nice to have:
- understanding of Domain-Driven Design,
- experience with CQRS and Event Sourcing patterns,
- experience with distributed systems and web services,
- understanding of frontend technologies.
How we work - remote/hybrid work:
- Employees up to 50 km from the office (Katowice) - 4 times a month
- Employees from 50 to 100 km from the office - 2 times a month
- Employees over 100 km - remote work (with occasional visits to the Katowice office)
