We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to work on a project in the fintech industry.

You will be part of a distributed team developing innovative financial process automation solutions that increase productivity, reduce costs, and ensure organizations meet compliance obligations.
We are looking for someone with good communication skills, ideally with experience making decisions, being proactive, used to building software from scratch, and with good attention to detail.
What you will do:
- Implementing technical solutions in collaboration with the Product function.
- Work within a defined delivery process to deliver high-quality code for complex projects.
- Be a proactive stakeholder in quality of code and overall product quality whilst adhering to development standards and the development lifecycle.
- Embrace emerging technologies and keep abreast of new frameworks, tools and programming languages.
- Add value in all stages of project/support work from definition, development and deployment.
What you will bring:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in multi-tier application and database development.
- Extensive experience in back-end development using the Java ecosystem.
- Experience and knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure (Microsoft Azure, preferably).
- Responsible for designing, developing and deploying cloud native software applications, which includes Continuous Delivery/Deployment pipelines and all aspects involved.
- Experience in containers and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of standard architectural design patterns, TDD and Test Automation.
- Good experience with SQL & No-SQL databases.
- Knowledge and experience in Lean, Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience in test frameworks (e.g. Pytest, Cypress, etc) for e2e and Functional testing.
Nice to have:
- Bonus points if you have experience using Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Any experience in other cloud providers, such as GCP, will be welcomed.
- Knowledge of IaC (Terraform, Ansible).
