RESPONSIBILITIES:
Program Leadership
- Support team management activities including candidate interviews and hiring initiatives, analyst performance evaluations and employee on- and off-boarding.
- Identify MDDR Analyst training needs and assist with training program delivery and ongoing mentorship.
- Monitor industry changes and leading practice trends to identify opportunities for process/service enhancement and ensure alignment with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Plan, delivery and track internal SOC projects.
- Assist in the development of new service offerings and capabilities, including new correlations, reports and data points to enhance overall customer value.
Operations
- Become technically proficient in all aspects of the Cyera platform.
- Responsible for service operations (24x7x365) including hands-on delivery and team oversight (shift management, handovers, escalation, etc.), support and backup (as needed).
- Support oversight and management of MDDR Analysts including resource scheduling, coverage and escalations.
- Develop, document MDDR standard operational procedures and evaluate and recommend tooling and automation strategies to optimize detection and reporting workflows and overall service level agreement (SLA) performance.
- Formulate and track key performance and risk indicators (KPIs and KRIs) to include executive-level reporting and storytelling (e.g., dashboards, trend analysis, risk posture insights).
Customer Engagement
- Monitor, identify and analyze key events and data points across in-scope environments leveraging customer’s Cyera deployment.
- Conduct open source and dark web intelligence queries, along with other client requested inquiries as part of base MDDR services.
- Assist with incident response efforts when needed.
- Prepare and present reports to customers that highlight key findings, observations and suggested remediation activities.
- Support MDDR Analysts and provide customer escalation assistance as needed.
Customer Success and Data Security Executive Support
- Support Customer Success Engineering (CSE) team to establish customer journey and deliver agreed upon outcomes.
- Support customers as they transition through key onboarding/implementation tollgates into ongoing management and operationalization phases.
- Support ongoing platform integration, tuning and configuration activities.
- Support Customer Success team in resolving customer problems and securing renewals.
- Assist Customer Success with the execution of QBRs and other customer touchpoints.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Direct operational experience in Security Operations Centers (SOC) and/or Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) settings.
- Minimum 10 years working technical SOC/MSSP roles.
- Minimum 5 years in management roles across SOC/MSSP environments.
- Hands-on experience working with key enterprise security platforms such as SIEM, EDR, ASM, and similar technologies.
- Experience identifying, triaging and resolving cyber incidents.
Miscellaneous
- Seek and complete an ongoing series of training and certifications to further develop and enhance your technical and soft skillsets.
- As requested, provide feedback and suggested feature/function enhancements to product development teams.
COMPENSATION INFORMATION:
In addition to a standard benefits and equity package, we offer a generous salary. Final compensation will vary based on seniority and relevance of experience, location, and position requirements.
This role may be eligible for potential merit increases based on factors such as individual or company performance, time in role, and other discretionary factors.
