Job Description
The Red Hat Finance team is looking for a Junior Billing Support Specialist to join us in São Paulo, Brazil. In this entry-level role, you will support day-to-day billing operations by assisting with invoice preparation, ensuring data accuracy, and helping resolve basic billing issues. You will work closely with internal teams including Sales, Finance, and Deal Management teams to ensure accurate and timely invoicing, while developing a strong understanding of billing processes and systems.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their finance or operations career who is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Fluency in English is required, as the role involves communication with global stakeholders.
What you will do:
• Assist in the preparation and review of customer invoices
• Support the billing team in maintaining accurate billing records and documentation
• Perform basic checks to ensure data accuracy and compliance with internal policies
• Help resolve routine billing inquiries in coordination with cross-functional teams
• Maintain service level agreements (SLAs) for invoicing timelines
• Learn and apply billing systems, tools, and processes to support operational efficiency
• Contribute to the month-end close process as needed
What you bring:
• 1–2 years of experience in billing, order processing, finance operations, or a related field (internships or co-op experience welcome)
• Basic understanding of financial or billing processes
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic, global finance environment
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude
• Fluency in English (spoken and written); Spanish is a plus
• Familiarity with financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) or Excel is a plus but not required
