About the role

As a Analytics Engineer at Dremio, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining our data analytics infrastructure while spearheading the implementation of AI agents throughout our marketing technology stack. You will bridge the gap between data engineering, business intelligence, and AI innovation, transforming raw data into accessible, reliable insights that drive business decisions. 

This role requires strong SQL, Python, and AWS expertise, combined with deep experience implementing AI solutions using Anthropic and OpenAI technologies across marketing platforms. You will create powerful data visualizations in Tableau while deploying intelligent AI agents that enhance our marketing capabilities.

What you'll be doing

  • Design, develop, and maintain data models using SQL and Python to support business intelligence and reporting needs
  • Implement and manage AI agents powered by Anthropic and OpenAI technologies across our marketing stack, including email, website, SEO, paid search, and LinkedIn
  • Build intelligent automation systems that optimize marketing campaigns and personalize customer experiences
  • Leverage AWS services (such as Redshift, S3, Glue, and Lambda) to build scalable data pipelines and analytics workflows
  • Write Python scripts for data transformation, analysis, and integration with AI platforms
  • Create and optimize interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau to monitor AI agent performance and marketing KPIs
  • Collaborate with marketing and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into AI-powered solutions
  • Work with MCP servers and data lakehouses to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval for AI applications
  • Configure and maintain Grafana dashboards for monitoring AI agents and marketing metrics
  • Develop product analytics frameworks using Python and SQL to track user behavior and AI-driven marketing performance
  • Design and implement AI-augmented analytics workflows that enhance decision-making capabilities

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in analytics, data engineering, or business intelligence roles
  • Strong proficiency in Python for AI development, API integrations, and marketing automation
  • Expertise with Tableau for creating interactive dashboards and data visualizations
  • Advanced SQL skills with experience writing complex queries and optimizing performance
  • Demonstrated experience with AWS data services (Redshift, S3, Glue, Lambda, etc.)
  • Proven experience implementing and working with Anthropic and OpenAI technologies
  • Experience with marketing technology platforms and their APIs
  • Basic understanding of MCP servers and data lakehouse architectures
  • Familiarity with Grafana for monitoring and observability
  • Experience with product analytics and tracking user behavior metrics
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to marketing stakeholders

Bonus Points

  • Experience deploying AI agents or automation within marketing platforms (primarily email & website)
  • Knowledge of natural language processing and conversational AI design
  • Knowledge of dbt (data build tool) or similar transformation frameworks
  • Understanding of statistics and experimental design for marketing
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance in marketing
  • Certifications in AWS, data engineering, or AI technologies
