About this opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Software Architect to join our team. This role involves designing and overseeing the architecture of our complex software product, ensuring that it meets both functional and non-functional requirements. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise and a strategic mindset, enabling them to guide our development teams in creating scalable, efficient, and innovative solutions for the Ericsson Billing product, our BSS Billing system solution within BOS and BCSS.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong abilities in defining solutions, driving innovation, and fostering collaboration and communication to promote cross-functional teamwork and cutting-edge solutions, all while maintaining a result-oriented mindset. Your ability to manage change projects in a global environment is key to success.

This Software Architect position is for a unit responsible for the development of our Billing System solution, used by developers and in commercial offerings both within BOS and BCSS.

What you will do:

· Define the architecture for the Ericsson Billing solution for customizations and new product releases.

· Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into technical requirements.

· Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends to drive the product development within the organization.

· Conduct risk assessment and develop mitigation strategies for potential architectural issues.

· Facilitate architectural reviews and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

· Manage product and customization requirements with different stakeholders including internal and external.

· Provide price estimations and the solution for external customers

· Manage the end-to-end development solution and accountability for its success.

· Build strong development product focus on the latest technologies and trends.

· Secure high performing solutions on Ericsson Billing product.

· Secure and drive strategic initiatives to secure competitive edge and continuous business value

The skills you bring:

· Master’s or Bachelor´s Degree related to Software Engineering or equivalent.

· Broad experience from SW Development or similar within Eric

· Experience in multi-cultural, cross-geographic, and distributed software development.

· Demonstrated strong leadership skills, curiosity, and a willingness to challenge the status quo.

· Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

· A passion for success and a solution-oriented attitude.

· Demonstrating high integrity and a strong focus on compliance.

· Knowledge of BSS and Billing solutions, TM Forum standards, Public Cloud, and Artificial Intelligence technologies.

· Experience in requirement specifications and management.

· Experience with cloud computing platforms.

· Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.

· Fluency in English.
