What will you be doing?
As Tax Compliance Hub Manager you will be part of the private client tax team working on tax advisory and tax compliance services for a wide range of clients on your portfolio.
As a Manager, your responsibilities will include among others
- Client work including managing HMRC enquiries, taking day to day responsibility for a portfolio of compliance clients. Monitoring time limits and elections, reviewing HMRC correspondence, assisting Partners in more complex planning/ advisory projects. Billing and monitoring budgets, ensuring client deadlines are met. Delegating tasks and reviewing work.
- Ensuring relevant client deadlines are met and ensuring procedures are adhered to
- Coaching and training more junior members of the team/ trainees
- Providing support to other staff members and Partners on chargeable and non-chargeable work when required
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you should have
- Relevant professional qualification(s) CTA and/or ACA
- Significant private client tax experience gained within the professional services and or industry
- Be a technically capable tax adviser who is able to assist in complex client work
- Demonstrable experience of managing people
- Appetite to grow your business development skills
- Strong IT skills
