Sterilization Logistics contributes to Cardinal Health
Sterilization Logistics is responsible for the design, implementation and execution of policies, programs and platforms to enable compliant and efficient international movement of products and technologies.
Sterilization Logistics is responsible for managing Sterilization execution focused on Manufacturing, compliance, delivery excellence and cost optimization. Implements, executes and serves as primary interface to internal business operations, as well as forwarders, carriers, transportation and Manufacturing.
Responsibilities
Supervise load assignation and coordination for products shipped for sterilization to USA facilities
Supervise that Sterilization method and regions assigned to sterilizers are correct.
Supervise expense of Sterilization process and results.
Tracking and supervision of Short Haul expense.
Administrate the trailer pool for operation
Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of operations or business staff
Administers and exercises policies and procedures.
Ensures employees operate within guidelines and adhere to quality and other regulations and norms
Participate in 6's initiative of the sites.
Support EHS and Quality initiatives.
Leadership
Decisions have a direct impact to work unit operations and customers
Frequently interacts with subordinates, customers, and peer groups at various management levels
Interactions normally involve information exchange and basic problem resolution.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Global Trade or similar
5+ years of experience supply chain, global trade or similar
English: intermediate - advance is highly preferred
Knowledge of CTPAT/NEEC regulations
Experience with Microsoft Office suite
Knowledge of MRP/PRMS/inventory software
