Senior Engineer, Blockchain Development at Echo Base

The Senior Engineer/TL Blockchain Development is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust blockchain-based systems that power Echo Base’s platforms. This role requires deep expertise in blockchain technologies, hands-on experience with API integrations, and the ability to work with advanced blockchain solutions. You will play a critical role in building secure wallet systems, optimizing transaction processing, and integrating new blockchain features.

What will you do:

• Manage the Engineering team of 15+ for a crypto exchange product
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver blockchain-focused features and improvements.
• Design and implement integrations with third-party providers
• Develop tools for transaction monitoring, fraud detection, and blockchain analytics.
• Conduct security audits and implement robust measures to protect funds and user data.
• Stay updated on advancements in blockchain technology and propose relevant improvements to the platform.

Requirements

• Proven technical leader in blockchain technologies with significant experience working with various protocols and structures
• 12+ years of experience in backend engineering with either PHP or Go
• 5+ years of experience in blockchain development or related fields.
• Experience building robust backend services and leveraging orchestration systems to deploy them at scale
• Experience shipping and maintaining multiple projects with a large user base
• Deep understanding of blockchain security best practices.
• Strong working knowledge of modern software development methodologies and software design patterns
• Management skills
