Are you a highly motivated, independent, self-starter with a sharp eye for detail? Then come join the growing team at BARK as an Internal Auditor. The ideal candidate has proven experience in testing and evaluating financial and business process controls as well as participating in operational audits over financial and business processes.
KEY DUTIES:
- Key contributor to the execution of the financial audit plan; work as an integrated team with the other Audit team members on joint financial/IT reviews
- Responsible for testing the design and operating effectiveness of SOX business process controls; including identification of process improvement opportunities
- Support the maintenance of risk control matrices, flowcharts, memos, etc.
- Participate in control walk-throughs, documenting processes and determine necessary/applicable modifications.
- Communication of findings and coordination of mitigation and remediation activities
- Assist in the development of a combined assurance approach, and work and coordinate with external audit, when required
- Provide guidance to members of the business as it relates to control interpretation, applicability, and practice
- Assist in special projects and investigations as necessary
EXPERIENCE:
- 1+ years relevant SOX compliance audit or advisory experience; public accounting experience is preferred, but not required
- A strong understanding of financial and operational controls
- Understanding of internal control framework concepts, including Sarbanes-Oxley, Model Audit Rule, and GAAP and the application of those standards in regards to risk management and audit planning.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field
- CPA, CIA, and/or CISA Certification
- Strong understanding of audit planning techniques and methods used to review and evaluate financial and operating records, statements, and reports
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and connect the dots across multiple areas
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage confidently and assuredly with stakeholders across the organization.

COMPENSATION:
- The base salary range for this position is ₱750,000- ₱900,000
**This compensation range is based on BARKs good faith estimate as of the date of this posting and may be modified in the future. Actual pay for this position will depend on a variety of variables including location, travel, internal equity, experience, education, skills and expertise.
