About The Position
The Distribution Specialist plays a key support role within the WatchGuard sales team, focused on strengthening our distribution relationships and enabling our broader channel ecosystem. This individual will work closely with distributors to ensure smooth quoting, ordering, returns, and inventory processes, while also supporting channel initiatives and helping partners grow their business with WatchGuard.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter who is eager to learn, has a strong attention to detail, and a positive, can-do attitude. This role will collaborate closely with our Channel Account Managers, Sales Engineers, Marketing team, and Business Development Representatives.
Success in this position will be measured by the level of engagement and operational success with our distributors, the quality of support provided to the channel team, and contribution to partner and renewal growth.
This is a contract based role: 6-8 months
Position Responsibilities
Support daily operational needs with distribution (quoting, stock queries, returns, escalations)Assist with distributor training on WatchGuard solutions and toolsSupport marketing-led initiatives and campaigns through distributionHelp track and follow up on renewals and subscription expirationsContribute to forecasting and quarterly business reviews with distribution partnersCoordinate with Channel Account Managers and BDRs to identify sales and upsell opportunitiesAssist in onboarding new resellers in collaboration with the channel teamMaintain accurate records and updates within CRM and reporting toolsParticipate in special projects and team initiativesSkills And Qualifications

1–2 years in sales support, operations, or distribution within the IT industry preferredExperience in a partner-facing or distribution role desirableTertiary qualification in business, IT, or a related field beneficial
