HP is seeking a talented finance professional to support the global Procurement organization. This role is responsible for providing FP&A support (Financial Planning Analysis) for the Procurement Finance Organization. Including accounting and reporting activities and ensuring compliance of all processes with US GAAP and SOX controls. The ideal candidate is a team player with accounting knowledge, eager to learn, and willing to roll up his/her sleeves to tackle a varied array of business, accounting and financial challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support on FP&A activities including reporting, calendar management, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Prepare and book journal entries in accordance with US GAAP.
- Partner with Procurement organization to provide financial insights and clarify accounting implications of business decisions.
- Work cross functionally with a variety of stakeholders to drive business outcomes.
- Ensure financial and accounting activities comply with SOX internal controls.
- Drive operational efficiency by identifying and implementing process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. (MBA / CPA preferred).
- 4+ years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Knowledge & Skills
• Problem solving, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
• Effective communication and results oriented.
• Financial analysis, financial modelling, and financial planning.
• Accounting, US GAAP, internal controls.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP Systems (SAP preferred).
• Project management (preferred)
