We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. This role will play a key part in managing daily accounting operations, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts

• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures

• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and financial statements

• Reconcile bank, credit card, and POS accounts

• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes

• Assist in payroll processing and tax filings

• Monitor and report on budget variances

• Maintain accurate and organized financial records

• Support internal and external audits

• Collaborate with operations and department leads for financial accuracy

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• 1–3 years of accounting experience (experience in the restaurant/retail industry is a plus)

• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting

• Proficient in Excel; experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar platforms

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent time management and communication abilities

• Self-motivated and capable of working independently and in a team
