Job Description

We are looking for a talented and versatile Web Designer/Developer to help bring our website to life.

The ideal candidate has a strong eye for clean, artful design and a solid understanding of user experience and interface best practices. You’ll be responsible for creating UX/UI wireframes and converting them into a beautiful, intuitive, and fully responsive web experience.

This role blends creativity with technical skill, and you'll work closely with our team to build a site that’s as functional as it is visually engaging.

  • Please note, you’d be responsible for providing your own hardware and software.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-quality, responsive websites from concept to final deliverable.
  • Generate original, user-friendly web design concepts that simplify complex challenges.
  • Create wireframes, user flows, and site maps to communicate design strategies and interactions.
  • Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to define requirements, project scope, and solutions.
  • Present and defend design decisions to team members and executive stakeholders.
  • Implement and uphold design guidelines, best practices, and web standards.
  • Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on user feedback.
  • Troubleshoot and test web functionality to ensure performance, reliability, and compatibility.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Web Designer or Web Developer with a strong portfolio
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design techniques
  • Experience with WordPress, PHP, jQuery, Git, and command-line tools (CLI)
  • Skilled in design tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or similar
  • Solid understanding of UX/UI principles and accessibility standards
  • Ability to translate mockups and business requirements into functional websites
  • Familiarity with performance optimization and cross-platform adaptation
  • Experience using VS Code or similar development environments
