The Assistant Vice President – Treasury Manager supports the company’s corporate liquidity while limiting risks to the organization. Responsibilities include, supporting credit facility operations, banking relationships, interfacing with internal/external auditors, and support of all daily Treasury operations.
We Innovate to shape the future of CRE, so in this role you will:
- Assist SVP – Corporate Treasury in managing daily cash activities including managing daily liquidity, cash position reconciliation and bank reporting.
- Assist in maintaining and monitoring the cash management functions including cash flow forecasting and analysis, preparation of the daily cash report, daily borrowings and repayments.
- Manage the renewals associated with the current bridge and GSE facilities.
- Manage new financing facilities, including bridge and GSE facilities.
- Assist in managing all financing facilities’ cost and usage optimization. Create dashboards to analyze optimization.
- Manage internal/external audit requests and relationships and prepares associated financial statement footnotes.
- Maintain banking
- Act as the Treasury Workday Adaptive Planning expert/liaison.
- Integrate treasury systems and tools with other Berkadia financial systems and tools.
- Identifies opportunities to automate workflows and ensures data accuracy.
- Proactively research Treasury related industry trends, technology enhancements, and industry best practices.
- Work with new Berkadia entities to onboard Treasury and Accounts Payable functions.
- Act as a liaison between the treasury function and external financial partners and lending teams.
- Act as backup to SVP – Corporate Treasury and other staff.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Audit background preferred
- Proficient in Workday and Adaptive Planning and fluent in financial system integrations.
- Background in Treasury cash management.
- Self- reliant, good problem solver, results oriented
- Flexible, collaborative, and proactive; a team leader who can positively and productively impact both strategic and tactical finance and administration initiatives.
- Ability to adhere to Berkadia’s policies and exhibit proficiency and understanding of Berkadia’s Values
- Ability to interface with team members and customers
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to organization policies and procedures
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency
- Advanced Excel skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 5-7+ years of experience in treasury, finance or related roles
