Job Description

We are looking for a motivated sales consultant who has experience in identifying and influencing decision makers of large organizations to win new deals. We are creating a new sales team to support our mainly US and European opportunities.  We are looking for experienced healthcare & life science software sales professionals or passionate professionals looking to transfer into sales. Healthcare experience is mandatory. 

This is a great opportunity if you are looking for a remote long-term freelancing contract, learning new skills and working as part of a strong artificial intelligence software team. There are plenty of customer facing opportunities and challenges to go around. This job requires a 1099 role.

Key responsibilities:

  • Represent John Snow Labs, its solutions and software, for the assigned territory
  • Exceed quarterly and annual bookings target for subscriptions and services
  • Carry out business development activities to develop pipeline for the territory
  • Build, execute and maintain a territory plan which achieves strategic and financial objectives
  • Manage customer and internal relationships through all stages of the sales cycle
  • Maintain accurate data and forecasts within CRM system for assigned territory
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in all customer accounts
  • Coordinate engagement with the customer, including support, service, and management

Required skills, qualifications and experience:

  • 10+ years’ professional experience in software or technology sales, machine learning or artificial intelligence
  • Proven success in B2B sales, from introductions to contract negotiations
  • Detail orientated with strong follow-up skills, negotiating skills and an ability to close sales
  • Excellent presentation skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to be productive in a globally distributed team through self-discipline and self-motivation
  • Represent the company well at external events
  • Graduate degree in related field
