The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services (ES) Finance team.
RTX Enterprise Services (ES) is looking for a dynamic, talented Finance Associate Director, Business Solutions. As the Finance Associate Director, Business Solutions you will serve serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership across Business Solutions . In this high-impact role, you’ll lead a team of 4+ finance professionals, driving financial performance, investment prioritization, and enterprise-wide savings initiatives. From forecasting and capital planning to synergy tracking and process improvement, you’ll play a critical role in shaping financial strategy and execution across multiple business units—while delivering insights that influence decision-making at the highest levels.
What You Will Do:
- You will be the strategic finance partner for the ES Business Solutions VP and their executive staff
- Engage in cross business unit collaboration to drive strategic investment prioritization
- Lead financial support for large multi business savings initiatives
- Lead a team of 4+ finance team members
- Drive financial execution, forecasts, project support, performance against AOP, synergy analysis, and tracking cost control initiatives
- Maintain financial oversight of operating budgets, capital expenditures and the controls environment
- Leverage CORE approach to assess and mature processes and drive continued improvement & harmonization
- Drive effective forecasting including the quarterly forecast, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and Long Range Plan (LRP).
- Proactively lead self-initiated analysis, solve problems, and resolve issues
- Prepare and present effective leadership presentations
- Have the ability to travel as needed, 1 week per quarter on average.
- This role can be remote based in the Continental U.S. preferably within reasonable distance from an RTX facility.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience oran Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements
- Proven success leading FP&A and functional finance teams in fast-paced environments, with strong forecasting expertise across AOP, LRP, and quarterly cycles.
- Experienced in empowering analysts, solving complex problems, and driving decisions aligned with RTX values.
- Skilled communicator with a track record of delivering clear, impactful presentations to executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting is preferred
- Experience partnering cross functionally and influencing positive change with and without direct authority
- Experience in FP&A and functional finance
- Demonstrates leadership skills by having the ability to influence others through leading and guiding
- Strong communication and organizational skills, comfortable speaking in large groups and has the ability to confidently and professionally share opinions with every level of management
- Strong track record of delivering exceptional results to customers
