About the role:
The Certified Trainer and Content Developer is a member of the Altium Training group responsible for the creation and delivery of industry leading instruction on Altium’s products. The training is aimed at enabling customers to fully utilize our product features and capabilities with best practices. Customer training is integral to the success and long-term growth of Altium through engaging technical training using various media formats.
We are looking for an individual with a passion for delivering technical training as well as content development and verification. Must be able to train customers with a high level of professionalism while demonstrating tool proficiency. Abilities to capture training course videos and audio recordings from existing training course materials. In addition, will provide course material updates and maintain existing written training materials. Be able to work with limited supervision in the development of course materials.
A day in the life of our Certified Trainer & Content Developer:
- Instruct Altium customers using Altium training content
- Maintain knowledge of all training Content provided to customers
- Must be able to develop training content including scripts, video storyboards, project examples and independently create technical video series
- Collaborate with internal departments for new product features and development
- Provide mentorship for internal and external trainers
Who We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years previous experience as a Technical trainer both face to face and live web based training
- Preferred minimum of 5 years of industry experience
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Japanese
- Preferred experience with Altium products, experience with Audacity, and OBS, and CID certification
- Fluent in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
