Video Editor – Social Media at HyreDay
Job Description
- Minimum 2+ years of video editing experience with a strong portfolio, particularly for social media videos.
- Proven ability to create content that has achieved viral reach or millions of views.
- Comfort with producing a high volume of edits daily (5-15) and working autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Strong written English communication and ability to articulate creative rationale and feedback.
- Familiarity with platform-specific dynamics for TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram, including best practices for hooks, pacing, captions, and native formats.
- Expertise in at least one professional editing tool (e.g., Adobe After Effects & Premiere, DaVinci Resolve); capabilities with CapCut are a plus.
- Experience in marketing/advertising environments or agencies is a plus, demonstrating ability to handle fast-paced, high-volume workloads.
- Experience using Google Workspace and cloud-based collaboration tools.
- Previous remote collaboration experience and comfort with cross-functional teamwork.
