At Eni, we are looking for a Senior Production Optimisation Engineer to join Eni Mexico. You will be responsible for providing Engineering Support to the Operations Team to ensure the field and facilities are operated safely and within design, ensuring they meet the Company safety standards and Regulatory requirements.
Main responsibilities:
- Provide engineering support to Operations to achieve Company HSE Objectives and Targets.
- Support Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis.
- Participate as a key member of the Operations Safety Committee and Incident Management Team.
- Promote Company Health and Safety culture within the Operations Team.
- Manage engineering staff and contractors to ensure high-quality, timely, and cost-effective support.
- Oversee project works and engineering services within agreed budgets.
- Ensure compliance with procurement procedures and manage contracts.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders professionally and collaboratively.
- Support Mechanical, Electrical, Instrument, Structural, Rotating, Process, Controls, Corrosion, and Marine Engineering.
- Manage day-to-day working activities, allocate resources, and prioritize work requirements.
- Ensure engineering systems and procedures are in place.
- Assist with the Management of Change process.
- Monitor Facilities, Process, Plant, and Equipment performance.
- Maintain and provide input into action tracking registrar for audits.
- Liaise with HSE department for timely review and approval of licenses and plans.
- Lead development of production and business improvement plans.
- Manage engineering personnel in accordance with O&M contracts.
- Arrange training and skill upgrades for subordinate personnel.
Skills and experience required:
- Engineering Degree.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry providing Engineering Support to production operations both onshore and offshore.
- Strong understanding of Oil & Gas production processes.
- Good knowledge of Petroleum & Production engineering.
- Knowledge of Planning Activity and General Economics.
- Ability to assess and rationalize complex data to formulate operational & engineering plans.
- Strong ability to deliver tasks and meet deadlines within safety parameters.
- Clear focus on meeting company production targets without compromising HSE performance.
- Ability to develop strong business relationships with internal & external stakeholders.
