Position Overview:
This exciting newly created Sr Finance Analyst role will report directly to the Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis to support the growth of the organization and specifically the US commercial team. The primary job responsibilities will partner closely with US commercial team to deliver insights to help facilitate speed and accuracy of decision-making, and positive impact.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication/presentation skills and demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a key cross-functional role. In addition, the candidate will be able to think creatively, create meaningful business partnerships and able to provide practical solutions to problems.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities may include the following as well as other duties may be assigned.
Understand, model, communicate and explain results & drivers to the Business. Partner with management in making decisions through complex data analysis.
Prepare reports of findings and recommendations, compile and consolidate financial plans and provides insights to management. Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and reduce costs through data-based insights.
Partner with US Commercial organization to enable timely and accurate submission of financials and plans.
Leverage technology to provide analysis and tools to support key decision making and investment opportunities.
Participate in unique projects to drive strong financial results that would require system enhancements, complex financial modeling, and/or project management skills.
Requires discretion and judgment to organize priorities, complete tasks and handle confidential information.
Partner with other teams to facilitate standardization of processes and ensure robust reporting and analytics.
Seek and implement continuous improvement ideas.
Deliver special projects / ad-hoc financial reporting as needed
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree, Business Administration (Finance preferred)
4+ years of financial planning and analysis experience with a publicly traded company; preferably in the medical device, healthcare, or pharmaceutical industry
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth, performance and deadline driven environment
Demonstrated proficiency in strategic thinking, change management, facilitation, and interpersonal effectiveness
Proven track record of building strong relationships and communication skills required for business partnering
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
Demonstrated proficiency in MS suite of tools, including Advanced MS Excel and financial modeling skills required
Power BI experience preferred
High standards for quality with strong attention to detail
Ability to present data to members of senior leadership
Self-motivated, high energy, respectful, honest, hard-working, and loyal team player
