Data Engineer ( Latam) at Playbypoint

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and loves building scalable data systems. You will join a collaborative Data & Insights team dedicated to turning data into strategic value for the business.

What you’ll do: Design and implement end-to-end data pipelines, maintain data quality, and enable trusted analytics for product, growth, and operations teams. You will work with streaming technologies (Kafka), orchestration (Airflow), and cloud data platforms to support both real-time and batch processing. You will also contribute to data governance, observability, and tooling that improves the developer experience and accelerates decision-making across the organization.

Your impact: Deliver reliable data infrastructure that supports key metrics, business intelligence, A/B testing, and ML workflows. Your work will directly influence product strategy, club operations, and the player experience on a global scale.

What we expect: 5+ years in data engineering; strong Python and SQL skills; experience with streaming and orchestration tools; familiarity with OLAP databases and cloud platforms (AWS preferred); a proactive mindset with a passion for data quality and scalable design.
