Project Design Engineering II at EnerSys

EnerSys is seeking a Project Design Engineer to design, engineer, and cost critical power construction projects within the Telecom, Cable, and Renewable energy markets. This role involves guiding a team on design and estimations, ensuring the success of projects through clear communication and stakeholder management. The engineer will contribute to continuous improvement of tools and processes within the company.

Requirements

• BS degree in engineering (electrical or mechanical preferred)
• Experience in critical power environments (DC power, protected AC power systems)
• Basic understanding of cooling systems, control systems, AC switch gear, and generator systems
• Experience in project management and operations culture
• Understanding of financial statements, budgets and engineering economic calculations
• Experience working with professional engineers and architects
• Familiarity with construction techniques
• Experience with SharePoint and TEAMS
• Valid Driver’s License
• Incumbent must obtain a Criminal Record Check and Drivers Abstract on regular intervals upon starting and during employment
