We’re a mission-driven team passionate about helping people live better, healthier, and more financially secure lives. As a growing startup, we move fast, think big, and rely on each other to make things happen. Every member of our team plays a key role in shaping our success.

About the Role

As we grow, we’re seeking a Commission Analyst to oversee and optimize our commission operations. This role ensures accuracy, transparency, and timeliness in all commission-related processes for our Medicare Advisor team and other sales functions. You’ll work closely with Silvur’s Finance, Legal, and Medicare Leadership Teams to calculate, reconcile, and report on compensation—helping maintain trust, compliance, and clarity across the organization.

This is an ideal role for someone who thrives on precision, loves building efficient systems, and has a strong understanding of sales compensation in the insurance or financial services industry.

What You’ll Do

  • Calculate and process commission payments for Medicare Insurance Advisors
  • Validate sales data and ensure accuracy of commission inputs across CRM, payroll, and accounting platforms
  • Partner with Silvur’s Finance, Legal, and Medicare Leadership Teams to maintain commission structures, rate tables, and eligibility rules
  • Reconcile commission reports against payout data, identifying and resolving discrepancies
  • Prepare and distribute monthly commission statements for advisors and leadership
  • Track and analyze performance metrics, compensation trends, and cost-of-sales data
  • Assist in building automation and process improvements for commission tracking and reporting
  • Support Finance with monthly close activities related to commission expenses and accruals
  • Develop and maintain documentation for commission policies and procedures
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting to support forecasting, budgeting, and audit requests

Requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
  • Proven experience in commission analysis, payroll operations, or sales compensation administration
  • Familiarity with Medicare insurance, financial services, or other regulated sales environments
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and experience with CRM or HRIS systems (e.g., AgencyBloc, Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to manage sensitive compensation data with discretion and integrity
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort collaborating across departments
  • Experience in startup or high-growth environments is a plus

Nice to Have

  • Experience with insurance and carrier reporting
  • Experience using commission automation or compensation management tools
  • Knowledge of expense management and accounting platforms (e.g., QuickBooks, Ramp, Expensify)
  • Exposure to financial reporting or cost analysis for sales teams

Benefits

Compensation & Perks

  • $40–$60 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
  • Flexible remote work and schedule autonomy (10–15 hours per week)
  • Opportunity to grow with a scaling fintech startup and expand into broader finance or analytics responsibilities
  • A collaborative, supportive team where your work directly drives impact
