Freelance Press / Media Relations Consultant (Japan) at Ecosia

We are seeking a freelance press and media relations professional based in Japan (native Japanese communicator, fluent in English) to support upcoming communications activities. This is a short-term, part-time engagement starting immediately, running for approximately 4–6 weeks.

Freelancers only - agencies are not eligible.

Requirements:

• Substantial background in managing press communications in Japan

• Established contacts with key Japanese media outlets

• Proficient in written and spoken Japanese, and advanced English proficiency

• Ability to manage tasks efficiently and deliver on short timelines

Details:

• Part-time: 10–20 hours per week

• Duration: 4–6 weeks

• Start: immediate

• Freelance contract (individual freelancers only)
