We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant / Full-Charge Bookkeeper to oversee the full accounting cycle for multi-entity U.S.-based operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in QuickBooks Online, GAAP compliance, and financial reporting, with the ability to manage daily bookkeeping, reconciliations, and month-end close independently.

This role requires both strategic and hands-on expertise — ensuring accuracy in every financial transaction while supporting leadership with meaningful insights on cash flow, profitability, and process improvement. Experience working with multi-location, service-based, or restaurant businesses is highly preferred.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting, including AP/AR, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close

• Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online and prepare Balance Sheet, P&L, and Cash Flow reports

• Handle payroll, benefits, and compliance requirements using Gusto or similar tools

• Reconcile data between POS or ERP systems (e.g., Clover, Salesforce) and accounting platforms

• Support audits, tax filings, and compliance reporting

• Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen accounting accuracy and efficiency

• Provide financial insights and administrative support to leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, including full-cycle bookkeeping

• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel

• Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes

• Experience with multi-entity or multi-location accounting environments

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred:

• Experience in restaurant, hospitality, or SaaS industries

• Familiarity with Clover POS, Gusto, NetSuite, or Salesforce

• Knowledge of ASC 606 and audit preparation
