Staff Software Engineer Python (f/m/d) at Arsys

We are looking for 2 Staff Python Software Developers for the Migration Tooling team.

Tasks

• Experience in backend programming, mainly Python
• Passionate about programming. Proactive. Self-learning profile.
• Fluent English skills (written and spoken)
• Very precise work style
• Focus Billing & Tax: Proven experience in analyzing and designing processes in Billing, Invoicing, and/or Tax Determination (e.g., VAT logic).
• System Knowledge (A Plus): Practical experience with major ERP or financial systems such as SAP (FI/CO) and/or Infor LN is desirable.
• Technical Understanding: You are capable of independently analyzing data flows. Basic knowledge of reading common code formats (e.g., SQL queries or script logic) is required to comprehend processes at a technical level.
• Agile Mindset: Experience in an agile environment (Scrum, Kanban) and the ability to work in interdisciplinary teams.
