Senior UI/UX Developer (Contractual - Onsite) at Pakistan Single Window

• Review, debug, and repair existing UI/UX issues on PSW websites (mobile and desktop views).

• Improve website performance, load times, and responsiveness across all devices and browsers.

• Develop and implement interactive and visually appealing UI components using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and related frameworks.

• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and dynamic content seamlessly.

• Conduct UI/UX audits to identify usability and accessibility improvements.

• Create intuitive, user-centered designs and wireframes to enhance user journeys.

• Ensure brand consistency in typography, color schemes, and component styling.

• Maintain, customize, and troubleshoot October CMS-based projects.

• Implement design changes and content updates in coordination with the Marketing & Communications team.

• Work closely with cross-functional departments for direction and requirements, and align with design, content, and backend technical teams for cohesive project execution.

• Participate in project meetings, provide technical input, and propose creative solutions.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.

• Expertise in PHP and Laravel Framework for frontend-backend integration.

• Hands-on experience with October CMS or similar CMS platforms.

• Experience with Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, or other responsive frameworks.

• Strong knowledge of cross-browser compatibility, responsive design, and mobile-first development.

• Familiarity with version control tools (Git).

• Proficiency in wireframing and prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, etc.).

• Solid understanding of human-centered design principles.

• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices.

• Ability to translate business requirements into interactive design solutions.

• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

• Relevant certifications in UI/UX Design, Frontend Development, or Web Technologies will be an

added advantage.

• 4 to 6 years of proven experience in UI/UX development and frontend optimization.

• Demonstrated experience in website redesign and responsive design projects.

• Previous work with October CMS and Laravel is highly preferred.
