Senior Backend Engineer - Omnichannel Integrations at Text

📋 Description

• Build backend services for Omnichannel integrations and scale coverage across channels.
• Design ingestion and sync flows with dedup, retries, idempotency, and ordering.
• Translate third-party concepts into Text's internal model (messages, threads, attachments).
• Handle channel-specific constraints without breaking user experience (media size limits).
• Improve reliability with observability: metrics, logs, tracing, alerting.
• Collaborate with teams to keep data flows consistent and trustworthy.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years backend in product-focused environments.
• Strong Go (Golang) production experience.
• Distributed systems fundamentals: retries, idempotency, backpressure.
• Experience integrating with third-party platforms; PostgreSQL/Redis.
• Cloud infra (GCP preferred) and CI/CD, observability.
• Nice to have: messaging channels (WhatsApp/Meta APIs) or Twilio.
