About the Team

Our Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team keeps our equipment running at its best performance. We are a technically minded team, composed of excellent team players and guided by experienced leaders. We work together to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment across our global network of distribution centers. Some of our people are leaders, who supervise the team while working with exciting technology – some of which only exists at Amazon. From installing automated packaging systems to overseeing general site maintenance and repairing key distribution equipment, our team handles most of Amazon's technical aspects. This includes keeping buildings legally compliant, ensuring everyone is safe, and that our sites are operating at maximum efficiency. There are many opportunities for progression, both within the RME team and more broadly at Amazon. We work to reduce downtime at crucial Amazon operations sites, so customers receive their orders on time. If we identify a better way to do something, we have the skills and opportunity to develop and introduce completely new processes or cutting-edge technologies.
