Focus on developing a strong and robust engineering approach to our Corrective Maintenance Department.
Core Responsibilities:
- Ensure that LEGO Production team meets the reliability requirements of the company and product quality.
- Support the customers/maintenance staff (engineers, managers and technical) to use Maintain IT, applying the standard processes described.
- Leading all roll outs regarding a Global maintenance project.
- Assure the compliance of corrective maintenance activities performed by external OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) and suppliers.
- Coordinate maintenance activities with other departments.
- Ensure the development of preventive maintenance activities, creation, and execution of continuous improvement journey.
- Solving through the root cause mindset.
- Participate in projects to improve processes and equipment.
- Must be able to take the initiative and responsibility in solving critical and chronic problems in machinery.
- Project management skills to plan and implement assigned projects.
- Connect with all partners, supervisors, engineers, to meet customer needs.
- Reach into new global machine maintenance standards new ways to develop and improve our processes.
Do you have what it takes?
- Proven Experience in an Engineering related environment Automation/Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronic/Industrial.
- Excel/SAP/Forms/PowerApps/BI.
- Continuous Improvement/LEAN Mindset.
- Comfortable working on both shopfloor and office environment.
- Must have the necessary requirements to travel abroad for training and job requirements.
- English proficient level.
This position is based at our LEGO NL manufacturing factory located in Cienega de Flores. This is not a remote position.
With occasional supervision, tasks are assigned with some explanation
- More independently solving medium tasks with low level of support.
- Applies advanced knowledge of job area
- Working independently with limited supervision
- Coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals
