Business Relationship Manager
Overview
We are looking for a Business Relationship Manager (BRM) to act as the bridge trusted between our clients’ business stakeholders and our internal delivery teams. This role is key to ensuring
that what we deliver is clearly aligned with business outcomes, and that the value created is visible, measurable, and recognized.
This is a highly client-facing role, requiring strong executive communication skills, political awareness, and the ability to influence without authority. You will partner closely with Delivery
Managers and internal leaders to align priorities, manage expectations, and drive impact beyond pure execution.
Key Responsibilities
• Act as the primary liaison between client-side business stakeholders and internal delivery teams.
• Map stakeholders and define effective governance structures (SteerCos, working groups, MBRs, QBRs).
• Own and maintain account plans, relationship plans, and communication plans.
• Translate client business objectives into prioritized roadmaps in partnership with the internal Delivery Manager.
• Track and communicate business outcomes, benefits, and value realization (OKRs, KPIs, ROI narratives).
• Build executive-ready narratives, including QBR decks, impact summaries, and case studies.
• Ensure alignment on scope, priorities, risks, and dependencies across all parties.
• Manage change requests and help prioritize backlogs based on business value, not just delivery output.
• Anticipate risks and issues through stakeholder signals; escalate early and transparentlyto preserve trust.
• Identify value expansion opportunities and support growth initiatives in collaboration with Account or Sales teams (without a “sales-first” mindset).
• Support proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs) with clear value hypotheses and outcome framing.
Required Qualifications
• 5–10+ years of experience in roles such as Business Relationship Manager, Client Partner, Engagement Manager, or Strategic Account Manager.
• Proven experience managing executive-level stakeholders and navigating complex client organizations.
• Strong ability to influence without authority, including stakeholder mapping and negotiation skills.
• Solid business acumen, ideally within the client’s industry or similar solution domains.
• Experience translating business strategy into delivery-aligned priorities and roadmaps.
• Strong understanding of delivery models (Agile, PM fundamentals, delivery rhythms).
• Comfort working with metrics and outcomes, including OKRs, benefits tracking, and ROI narratives.
• Excellent Spanish and English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Strong presence and confidence presenting to senior audiences.
Nice to Have
• BRM or related certifications.
• Exposure to ITIL, Agile, or consulting environments.
• Experience running QBRs and building executive dashboards.
• Background in professional services, consulting, or managed services organizations.
Where this role sits
• Reports to: Head of Accounts / Client Services or Practice / Delivery Director (matrix structure).
• Partners with: Delivery Managers, Account Executives (if applicable), Solution Leads, PMO, and Communications/Marketing teams.
• Client-facing: Works closely with Product Owners, Business Sponsors, and functional leaders on the client side.
