Commercial Underwriting Supervisor at Red River Mutual

Red River Mutual is seeking a Commercial Underwriting Supervisor to lead a team of underwriters and manage the day-to-day underwriting operations, including assessing risk and making recommendations on insurance applications.

Requirements

• Degree in business or other relevant fields
• CIP designation or working towards and/or equivalent qualification
• 8-10 years of insurance related experience
• Relevant product and industry knowledge
• Proven experience in customer service and managing the customer experience
• Management/leadership experience considered an asset
• Leadership, teamwork and collaboration skills
• Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills
• Strong problem solving, analytics and decision-making skills
• High flexibility and ability to adapt to change
• High level of organization and attention to detail
• Customer service orientated
• Integrity with confidential and private personnel and customer information
