Federal Solution Architect at Mattermost

📋 Description

• Primary technical resource for Mattermost’s DoD/IC customers, partners, prospects
• Lead discovery, demos, architecture reviews, and PoCs for federal envs
• Translate requirements including FedRAMP/IL4-IL6 into Mattermost architectures
• Partner with Federal Account Executives to develop technical win strategies
• Act as trusted advisor to federal accounts; identify risks and opportunities
• Support deployment planning, integration design, onboarding for on-prem or air-gapped/private cloud

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in Solution Architect/Sales Engineer role focused on US Federal/Defense/IC
• Deep understanding of on-prem, air-gapped, classified DoD/IC IT environments
• FedRAMP, DISA SRG IL4/IL5/IL6, NIST 800-53, CMMC, Zero Trust familiarity
• Linux-based infra, Kubernetes/OpenShift (Platform One/Big Bang), container deployments
• REST APIs and scripting (Python/Go/JavaScript); SAML/SSO/LDAP
• US citizenship; eligible for security clearance; travel up to 25-40%
