Software Engineer III - Full Stack/Front End at Rent The Runway

📋 Description

• Partner with design to build UI with React/Next.js on a high-traffic site.
• Optimize performance and scalability.
• Build intuitive, well-tested APIs for user data (home, product, checkout).
• Deprecate legacy functionality and services as needed.
• Drive technical projects to success in a fast-paced startup.
• Mentor teammates via code reviews, pair programming, and agile ceremonies.

🎯 Requirements

• BA/BS in CS or related field; 3-5+ years of experience.
• Strong ReactJS experience; proficient in Java/Kotlin.
• Knowledge of data stores and system tradeoffs; perf analysis.
• Experience with MVC, REST, Swagger/OpenAPI; modern patterns.
• Cloud migration/refactor/re-architecture for consumer apps and data stores.
• AI/LLM proficiency; using LLMs to aid debugging and refactoring.
