Salary: $70,000-90,000/year

The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily accounting operations ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective management of construction-specific financial processes such as job costing, project accounting, and progress billing. This role supervises accounting staff and works closely with project managers and executive leadership to support financial decision-making and maintain the financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.

Oversee construction job costing, ensuring accurate allocation of labor, materials, subcontractor costs, and overhead to specific projects.

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Manage month-end and year-end close processes.

Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.

Assist with project forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning.

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

5 years accounting experience

Construction industry experience
