📋 Description
- Own monthly close: GL review, journal entries, reconciliations, statements.
- Oversee AP/AR, payroll, T&E reimbursement, and contract accounting.
- Ensure timely GAAP-compliant financial reporting.
- Design and improve accounting processes and internal controls for scale.
- Manage local/state/federal tax filings and reporting.
- Partner with FP&A to analyze budget vs actual variances; own actuals layer.
🎯 Requirements
- CPA with 8+ years experience, Big 4 and startup.
- Strong background in international tech/SaaS companies.
- Deep knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting systems, Excel/Google Sheets, and BI tools.
- Experience building processes in fast-scaling environments.
- Highly independent and self-directed, comfortable operating remotely.
