Senior Network Operations Engineer at Megaport

📋 Description

• Serve as senior member of the Network Operations Engineering team
• Support Capacity Management and network procurement per approved standards
• Lead network redesign initiatives to optimise performance and cost
• Manage network projects end-to-end; host BAU, project and capacity planning meetings
• Provide regular reports on network performance and growth
• Lead resolution of major network and Layer 3 customer incidents

🎯 Requirements

• Passionate about technology and problem solving
• Strong work ethic with a commitment to continuous improvement
• Proven experience in network incident resolution, mitigation, deployment, and maintenance
• Production experience with IS-IS, BGP, MPLS Traffic Engineering, and MPLS L2/3 VPNs
• Production experience operating optical networks, particularly with DWDM and ROADM systems
• Hands-on experience with Juniper and Cisco hardware platforms
• Familiarity with Linux and scripting in Perl or Python (highly regarded)
