Social Security Scotland is seeking a colleague to fill a Monetary Value of Fraud and Error Measurement Fieldwork Officer role within the Fraud and Error Resolution Unit (FERU). The Unit’s mission is to identify, address, and prevent fraud and error, ensuring the integrity of benefit delivery and supporting public trust in our services.
As a Measurement Fieldwork Officer, you will contribute to the safeguarding of vital resources for the people of Scotland who need them. You will develop a wide range of knowledge of all of Social Security Scotland’s benefits and be involved in exciting and high-profile work. You will gather information to support estimation of the value of fraud and error, actively seeking out opportunities to identify any cases requiring correction, handing over to the appropriate teams to action, whilst also contributing to suggested controls to facilitate continuous improvement. In addition, you will have the opportunity to engage closely with colleagues across Social Security Scotland.
