As the Head for AI Transformation & Business Systems, you will be responsible for the technological realization of Torq’s departmental roadmaps. Your primary objective is to act as a force multiplier by translating high-level business requirements into scalable AI solutions. Collaborating directly with the Chief of Staff, CISO and Global departmental leads, you will apply your expertise in Information Systems and Operational Excellence to re-engineer manual processes into a seamless, automated, and AI-integrated ecosystem
Key Responsibilities
AI-First Roadmap & Implementation
- Business Discovery & Analysis: Develop deep understanding of internal systems, business processes, and KPIs to translate business needs into technical execution.
- Technical Translation: Convert business requirements into scalable solutions, including:
- Automation: End-to-end automation (leveraging Torq).
- Data Architecture: Design data flows, ETL processes, and cross-system enrichment.
- AI Agents & Transformation: Deploy AI agents and lead AI transformation initiatives, including observability, monitoring, and control frameworks (Agent Monitoring & Control). Implement Vibe Coding workflows (internally or via department-led development standards).
- Project Management: Own the full lifecycle of technical initiatives — from scoping and milestones to execution, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
- GTM Optimization: Partner with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps to automate workflows, improve data enrichment, and adapt systems to evolving business needs.
- Ethical Oversight: Ensure responsible AI development aligned with company policies and ethical standards.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor an AI Engineer focused on roadmap execution.
Application Ecosystem & Optimization
- SaaS Optimization: Audit and rationalize the SaaS ecosystem to reduce redundancy, improve architectural alignment, and enable reliable cross-functional workflows.
- Vendor Governance: Act as the technical authority for SaaS/service onboarding alongside Legal, IT, and Security. Evaluate tools based on ROI, effectiveness, and overlap, and manage the full vendor lifecycle.
- Security & Identity: Oversee integration security, including Non-Human Identities (NHI), service accounts, and access governance.
- System Integration: Lead vendor onboarding to ensure seamless integration, architectural consistency, and security compliance.
- Compliance & Governance: Implement frameworks for data protection and regulatory best practices.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience working with enterprise applications in high-growth technology company, with Proven experience in Information Systems (IS) Operations or a similar technical-operational role.
- AI Proficiency & Mindset: Deep understanding of AI Agents, Prompt Engineering, LLM integration, and automation platforms.
- Ability to understand complex business KPIs and translate them into technical architecture.
- Experience in vendor management and SaaS ecosystem optimization.
- Experience leading technical team members and managing cross-departmental projects with multiple stakeholders (GTM, Legal, Security, Ops).
- Familiarity with data flows, ETL, API integrations, and modern development trends (e.g., Vibe Coding).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate AI capabilities into business value.
- Passion for AI innovation and staying at the forefront of emerging technologies, with the ability to evaluate, adopt, and drive cutting-edge solutions within the organization.
