- Connect global events to how climate affects Americans
- Write 5-7 stories per month (600-1500 words)
- Contribute to newsletters, projects, and occasional video
- Represent Grist at conferences and workshops
🎯 Requirements
- At least 2 years climate/energy/environment reporting experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Professional reporting experience with climate knowledge
- Track record covering stories of national importance
- Ability to craft sharp, provocative angles on the news
- Comfort with magazine-style journalism and digital tools
