🚀 Join fiskaly! Help Us Simplify Receipts for Millions
Millions of people interact with fiskaly every day, even if they don't realize it. As a B2B company, we power the retail technology behind digital receipts and secure, legally compliant transactions.
By making receipts tamper-proof through digital signatures, we help fight tax fraud. And with our paperless receipt solution, we offer consumers a modern alternative while helping merchants streamline their operations.
Sure, our solutions sound complex — but our mission is simple: make receipts easy for everyone.
💼 The Role
We're looking for a Polish Fiscalization Consultant to help us enter the Polish market the right way. In this role, you'll be our authority on Polish fiscal compliance, validating requirements, navigating the certification landscape, and making sure we build the right thing from day one.
You'll collaborate closely with our product and engineering teams, translating complex regulatory reality into clear, actionable direction. This is a freelance engagement with flexible scope, we value straight talk, expert opinions that challenge assumptions, and people who've actually done this before.
🛠️ What You'll Do
- Map and validate all fiscalization obligations relevant to our scope — virtual cash registers (kasy wirtualne), CRK/CEKR2 integration, e-receipts (e-paragony), sector-specific mandates, and archiving requirements
- Guide us through the GUM certification process for virtual cash registers — timeline, what's required, and where foreign companies typically get stuck
- Identify regulatory risks and ambiguities, especially around cloud-hosted fiscal solutions, and recommend how to navigate them
- Translate Polish legal texts (Dziennik Ustaw, Ministry of Finance guidance) into requirements our product and engineering teams can act on directly
- Keep us ahead of upcoming changes — April 2026 and April 2027 sector deadlines, KSeF developments, and anything else that affects our compliance posture
- Provide periodic input as our product evolves — the kind of expert we call when documentation alone isn't enough
👀 What You Bring
- Hands-on experience with Polish fiscalization — kasy wirtualne, online cash registers, CRK/CEKR2, or the GUM certification process
- Deep familiarity with Polish VAT law as it applies to fiscalization obligations, including sector exemptions and the 2026–2027 expansion
- The ability to read and interpret Polish legal texts and turn them into practical, actionable guidance
- A track record of working with or advising companies navigating Polish fiscal compliance — you know how it works in practice, not just on paper
- Clear communication skills in both Polish and English — you can explain complex regulatory detail to a product manager and an engineer in the same conversation
Bonus: experience advising foreign companies entering the Polish market, or working knowledge of KSeF
✅ What We Offer
We know good consultants have options. Here's what working with fiskaly looks like:
- A focused, well-scoped engagement — clear deliverables, no ambiguity about what success looks like
- Direct access to product and engineering teams who are technically strong and genuinely want to learn from you
- Flexibility on timing and working rhythm — we work around your schedule, not the other way around
- A team that respects expert input and acts on it
- The chance to shape fiskaly's entry into one of Europe's most dynamic fiscalization markets
✨ Why fiskaly?
We work on real problems that have impact, not vanity projects. Our team is pragmatic, direct, and focused on building solid tech for an industry that needs it. We care about how things work, not how they look on paper.
Poland's fiscalization landscape is genuinely complex right now — cloud ambiguity, new sector mandates, certification challenges. If you find those edge cases interesting rather than frustrating, you'll enjoy this engagement.
If that resonates, we'd love to hear from you.
