Staff Engineer Embedded Firmware at Netgear

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and maintain firmware for Intelligent PDUs.
• Develop embedded C/C++ firmware for PDU controllers (ARM, ESP32, etc.).
• Implement outlet switching logic (relay/SSR, sequencing, inrush).
• Integrate energy metering ICs and calibrate power measurement.
• Build robust networking with SNMP, Modbus TCP, BACnet/IP, MQTT, APIs.
• Ensure secure firmware with TLS, authentication, RBAC and high reliability.

🎯 Requirements

• Embedded C/C++
• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Energy metering and RMS calculations
• SNMP/Modbus TCP/industrial protocols
• I2C, SPI, UART, RS-485, Ethernet stacks
• FreeRTOS or similar RTOS
