We’ve built all of our technology in house including an EHR, patient care admin system, patient portal, website, marketing technology etc. Winona has two compounding pharmacies and a team of in house physicians providing world-class care via a fully vertically integrated business model.
About the Role:
We’re looking for a Senior Web Designer to help bring strategy to life through clean, user-centered web designs. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to turn briefs into high-quality designs that align with our design system and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Design Leadership:
Lead the end-to-end design process for complex web projects, from initial concept through to final implementation.
Develop and drive design strategies that align with business goals and enhance user experience.
High-Fidelity Design:
Translate strategic briefs into high-fidelity designs within Figma that strictly adhere to our design system and industry best practices.
Create detailed wireframes and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design concepts.
Ensure designs are responsive, accessible, and optimized for various devices and platforms.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and alignment with project requirements.
Facilitate design discussions and present design solutions to stakeholders, effectively communicating the rationale behind design choices.
Design System and Consistency:
Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems, ensuring consistency and scalability across digital products.
Apply and enforce design standards and guidelines to maintain a cohesive visual language.
Project Oversight:
Manage multiple projects by following priorities set by leadership or project managers, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining high design quality.
Coordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely delivery of design assets.
Innovation and Improvement:
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continually enhance design skills and methodologies.
Identify opportunities for innovation and implement new design approaches to improve user experience.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct thorough testing of design solutions to ensure they meet user needs and project specifications.
Review and validate design implementations to ensure they align with the established design vision and standards.
Documentation and Communication:
Maintain comprehensive design documentation, including user flows, wireframes, and design specifications, to support the development process.
Ensure clear and effective communication of design decisions and changes to team members and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a focus on web design
Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered, high-impact website designs
Proficiency in Figma, Illustrator, and Photoshop
Strong understanding of design systems and responsive design
Solid grasp of UX principles, interaction design, and information architecture
Ability to collaborate effectively with developers (basic HTML/CSS/JS knowledge is a plus)
Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple projects
Experience working in fast-paced or agile environments
Skilled in utilizing user research, journey mapping, and A/B testing to validate design directions and drive data-informed decisions.
Experience contributing to or scaling design systems is a plus
Strong communication skills and ability to present design decisions clearly
